As a staff engineer and project manager, Dan's primary responsibility is the structural design and preparation of contract documents for a variety of project types. Included duties encompass the actual design of structures, interaction with clients to determine specific needs and desires, and management of drafting and other design personnel. His design portfolio includes structures ranging from single level commercial buildings to multi-level office structures, as well as involving many types of structural systems. He has experience in the design of new construction as well as renovation and retrofit of existing buildings.
In addition, his work encompasses analysis of existing structures, plan reviews, specification preparation, and construction observation. He is also experienced as a structural consultant in the capacity of design review and value engineering analysis of buildings during the design phase.
