Freeman's Mill, Lawrenceville, GA »Freeman's Mill Park will open to the public on Saturday, May 8, 2010. This typical rural gristmill was built between 1868 and 1879 and it continued to operate through the 20th Century. In the late 1990’s the mill was placed on the National Register of Historic Places for its significance in architecture, engineering, industry and social history.
